Reconstruction work of damaged trekking route is going on in rapid way in Langtang Region.
Consumer committee chairman Suppa Tamang said, “The reconstruction work of Syabrubesi trail is going on in rapidly with the help of the locals and the workers brought from Yarsa area”.
“DDC supported Rs1,500,000 to complete the work within a month; everyday 70 workers are active to finish the work in time. The workers were brought to Ghoda Tabela in helicopter with the help of OAM Nepal”, chairman Tamang said.
Nepal’s 3rd trekking destination Langtang trail is destroyed in several places from Syabrubesi to Kynajen by the devastating earthquake in April 25th. Total of 116 houses were destroyed and 496 people were displaced and are still living in the Yellow Monastery in Kathmandu. He told, “After the trail is reconstructed the displaced relocation and the tourism promotion work will be carried on together”.
