Pokhara seminar of Development Committee under the Legislature-Parliament, officials from the Tourism Ministry and Tourism Professionals togetherly has decided to decrease the trekking tariff to increase the flow of tourists after the earthquake.
Sunday and Monday ,2 day,s seminar's manifesto in Pokhara declared to decrease the trekking fees in Upper Mustang and Dolpa region, before each trekker going for the trek in Upper Mustang and Dolpa has to deposit 500 dollars but now the trekkers have to deposit only 100 dollars.
Similarly the rules, that would benefit the tourists such as the permission of trekking to prohibited areas will be arranged through one-door policy from Department of Tourism, fee for single entry permit can work for multiple entries permit, to make valid the permit for Annapurna region and other regions for one month for multiple entries has also been decided.
These types of arrangements will bring positive change in the earthquake hit tourism sector and give positive message to the tourists that Nepal is safe to visit.
