Kanchenjunga, one of Nepal's spectacular trekking destinations lies just at the base of the majestic Kanchenjunga Mountain, world's third-highest peak. This region is riddled with alpine pasture lands, thick subtropical forests and low river valleys. It is situated in north-eastern Nepal, and is surrounded by China and India. You will come across many diverse settlements of Brahmins , Chhetries , Rai, Limbu etc. that portray the cultural diversity existing in the eastern part of Nepal. You might see musk deers, Himalayan bears, blue sheeps etc. in the wild if we are lucky enough.
The Kanchenjunga area was opened for trekkers in 1988. It is a restricted region for foreigners and requires an entry permit (It will be managed by us).
