We come across the Larkya- La Pass (5,200m.) which is the highest, most challenging and exciting point of the trek. From Larkya La, the way down is steep and generally covered with snow up to Tanbuche. Moving ahead fromTanbuche the narrow track enters a broad pasture where we set our camp. Then we tag along the Dudh Khola river banks going across the wonderful forests of pine, rhododendron and Juniper then we arrive at Thonje and Dharapani. As we move down further the alpine plants makes way to subtropical greenness. We eventually descend to the Marsyangdi Khola river valley till Besisahar, the final point of the trek.
