Trip Itinerary

1

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Step off from the flight; arrive in Delhi which is the capital city of India. There, you will be obligated to follow the customs and fill all the official paper works. After the completion of all the bureaucrat actions, you meet our representative who will transfer you to the contented Hotels and that is where you will be staying a night.

Day 2: Delhi

After your early breakfast, you will be visiting Old and New Delhi and just after it, you leave for Red Fort, Chandani Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Government Building and India Gate, along with Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar. After the long hard stressful day, you will be sent to your Hotel where your dinner will be served and night to stay.

Day 3: Delhi / Jaipur (1417ft)

After having breakfast today, leave Delhi for Jaipur. Upon your arrival at Jaipur, you will check in at the Hotel. Rest of the day you can relax and enjoy.

Day 4: Jaipur (1417ft)

Today, after having breakfast, you will visit Amber Fort. A major fascination at Amber is the elephant ride to the fort doorway. In the afternoon, you will go for sightseeing of city visit Maharaja’s City Palace. In a while, you will visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the biggest stone and limestone crafted observatory in the entire world. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 5: Jaipur / Agra (171m.)

After having breakfast, on this day you depart from Jaipur and move to Agra. Today, you can make a trip to Fatehpur Sikri constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and discarded after 15 years owing to scarcity of water. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Agra (171m.)

You will be going for the sightseeing and observe the greatest Taj Mahal which was built by Shah Jahan. Afterward, visit Agra Fort with splendid halls for public and private audiences and other castles. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Agra / Jhansi / Khajuraho (257m.) (By Train)

After having breakfast, you take up Satabdi Express to Jhansi. After you reach in Jhansi, you will further drive to Khajuraho and on the way you will visit Orchha. Upon your arrival in Khajuraho, you will transfer to Hotel.

Day 8: Khajuraho / Varanasi (By Air)

Today, you will visit the Western group of temples, most significant one is the Kandariya Mahadev Temple devoted to Lord Shiva. Besides, you will observe Bharat Ji Temple or the Chitragupta. In the afternoon, you will move to airport for catching flight to Varanasi. On arrival in Varanasi, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 9: Varanasi (81m.)

Early in the morning, you will sail on a boat on river Ganges which offers you a memorable experience. Afterward, visit the Vishwanath temple, also identified as the golden temple. Then, you will return to hotel for breakfast. In a while, you will go for sightseeing tour of city located on the shores of the Ganges. Also, you will visit some of the significant temples - Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga Temple and more. You will then drive via the Tulsi Manas Temple and through the Banaras Hindu University. In the afternoon you have tour to Sarnath which lies 10 km away from Varanasi. The place holds testimony to its big past where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon to his followers. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi – Kathmandu (by Flight)

Today you will transfer to airport and fly to Kathmandu, upon entrance meet up with our representative and s/he will assist you to transfer to hotel. You will check into the hotel and carry on for the sightseeing tour of the Monkey Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa and visit Kathmandu Durbar Square where you will observe Kumari -the Living Goddess of Nepal, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Legendary Kasthamandap Temple and many more. In the evening, you will have typical Nepali dinner and enjoy folk dance performances Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

After your breakfast, you will be out for the sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple which is the holiest Temple in all over the world. There, you will be seeing the cremation of death bodies and a lot of monkeys walking here and there. After the visit to Pashupatinath, you will be going for the sightseeing tour to the biggest Buddhist stupa called Boudhanath. It was erected in the 17th century and it also believed that it is a “must visit” pilgrimage site for Buddhist in their lifetime. Boudhanath area is thickly occupied by Tibetan refugees who carried the name as Little Tibet. After the visit, you will be off to Bhaktapur which is approximately 14 Km east of Kathmandu. The name ‘Bhaktapur’ means the city of devotees and is a center of potter and intriguing masks. The prime sightseeing places in Bhaktapur are Durbar Square which contains the famous Golden Gate, Nyatapola, palace of 55 windows, Bhairavnath Temple, Dattatreya Temple, et-cetera. After the long hard day, you will be staying in a Hotel.

Day 12: Kathmandu - Pokhara (827m.)

After your breakfast, you will be driving to Pokhara (6 hrs drive) which is 200 Km away. Along the way, you will go through beautiful rivers and countryside. After you reach there, you will be checking into your Hotels to see everything is fine or not. After you get along in the Hotels, you will go for your tour to actual Pokhara such as Davis’ fall, Gupteswor cave, lake side, Tibetan refugee camp area and others. Soon after the visits, you will drive back to our Hotel where your dinner will be served and where you will be staying overnight.

Day 13: Pokhara – Kathmandu (fly)

After your early breakfast, you fly back to Kathmandu and you check in your Hotel to stay a night. In the afternoon, you are free to go wherever we want, either one can go for the last hour shopping or roam around or even make their own way out, everything is up to us.

Day 14: Departure

This is the end of our tour. This day, you are sent to the airstrip for your final Departure.

Clothing and Equipments

Certain basic trekking equipment is essential on all routes we described in this site. Depending on the area and season, we will provide you with a comprehensive list of necessities. Here is some recommended Equipments List for trekking in Nepal.

Clothing

1. Boots

Lightweight walking boots. If new one is being bought, “walk then in” to avoid blisters. Also bring spare laces.

2. Track shoes

A pair of track shoes. To wear in the camp at night or when the boot is wet.

3. Jacket

Warm jacket. Fiber fills or down should be adequate. This is especially necessary during winter from December to February. A rainproof jacket with hood or a poncho. Get the one that is guaranteed waterproof.

4. Shirt and Sweaters

Woolen shirts and thick sweaters. During winter months, December through February these items are essential. Thick sweaters can be purchased in Kathmandu. 1 lightweight long sleeved -shirt is particularly suitable for avoiding sun burn.

5. Trousers

A pair of lightweight/ heavy weight trousers. Jeans are unsuitable to wear on treks. Cheap loose cotton pants are available in Kathmandu. Heavyweight trousers are useful higher up in the mountains in the morning and at night. Windproof/ waterproof trousers are necessary on all treks going above 10.00ft.

6. Underwear

Thermal underwear. These are excellent to sleep in at night in the winter months thermal underwear are quite invaluable.

7. Tracksuit

A tracksuit useful for wearing in camp and in the tent. 2 pair of loose fitting long shorts/ skirts.

8. Sleeping Bag

As you do not carry it yourself this may be synthetic or down, but it must be 4 season. As most treks pass through a variety of climatic conditions, a long zip is a good idea. A cotton/fleece liner helps keep your sleeping bag clean. Good sleeping bags are expensive but can be rented easily in Kathmandu (Only for treks starting and finishing there)

9. Sun Hat, SunCream/Block & Lip Salve

Choose a high factor suncream (Factor 20 or stronger) to protect your skin against the sun at high altitude. A combination sunblock/lip salve is ideal for facial protection.

10. Personal First Aid Kit

You should have your own supply of plasters, aspirin, diarrhea tablets and also a comprehensive blister kit. (Please do not give medicines to local people without consulting the trek leader.)

11. Hat/ Glove/ Sandle/ Shocks/ Underwear

a) A woolen hat to wear in the morning and at night. During winter it is an essential item.
b) A sunhat and ensure it has a wide brim to cover the face and neck.
b) A pair of gloves. Leather with lining and woolen are best. c) 1 pair of sandals to wear in the cities and in camp.
d) 4 pairs of thin and 4 pair of thick woolen socks.
e) Underwear” normal quantity and swimming costume, hankies.

Equipments and Accessories

a) Duffle bag or kit bag to carry to gear while trekking
b) Daypack: This is a small rucksack to carry personal requirement for the day e.g. toilet items, camera, film towel, soap, a boot etc.
c) Water bottle.
d) Snow glasses and sunglasses
e) 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.
f) 6 -10 smaller plastic bags to dispose garbage.
g) Wallet and /or money belt with compartment for coins.
h) Toiletries with large and small towels. Toilet paper can buy in Kathmandu and some villages in the mountains.
i) Small headlamp and/ or torch with spare batteries and bulbs
j) candles and lighter to burn toilet paper.
k) Snow gaiters essential during wither and all treks going over at other times.
l) An umbrella (optional), which is quite useful to as a sunshade and useful when it rains.
m) Reading materials, camera and film, game items (optional), note book, rubber band, pen and pencil, envelopes, a diary, a calendar, a pocket knife, binoculars (optional), a small pillow or headrest (optional).
