TAAN Promotes Nepal in South Korea
A three-member delegation of Nepal trekking entrepreneurs led by D B Gurung, secretary of Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), left for Seoul, South Korea on November 4 to participate in the Gyeonggi International Travel Mart.The delegation will participate in a series of B2B sessions with Korean investors from November 4-6. The meeting is being organized by Seoul Partners House to promote Korean investment in Nepal.Members of TAAN delegation will then participate in 10th Gyeonggi International Travel Mart (GITM) from November 8-11, 2012.Representatives of Shashi’s Holidays, White Himalayan Trekking and Aeroland Tours are also in the delegation.According to Gurung, the Nepali delegation will promote Nepal’s tourism attractions, adventure tourism to be precise, among Korean visitors.
